2016 NS Bikes/Lama Cycles Race Team

We are really happy to present to you our NS Bikes / LamaCycles Race Team from Canada. Here is the offical press release:

It’s that time of year again where we put the bike trainers away and head for the hills!

The 2016 cycling season is underway for the Lama Cycles race team and is pleased to announce their continued partnership with NS Bikes Co.

Also, the team now has extended support from RaceFace offering protection and apparel along with the already proven components found on all corners of the bike.

New sponsors on board for this season include 100% Goggles and 100% Gloves to help keep sights of the finish line clear with a tight grip on the bars and AbsoluteBLACK Chainrings for the enduro team, eliminating dead-spots while putting the power down in the stages.

New faces this season include Rudy Girard who'll be racing with the #Enduro Lamas dropper-post club and, although not new to Lama Cycles per se, Team Manager Christophe Perreault and Lama Cycles Inc. President Justin Macknish decided they wanted in on the fun between the tape this year. The entire team has been training hard over the off-season and is eager to get back on the pedals!

The Lamas are looking to build on their successful 2015 season and will continue to be competitive in the Quebec Cup, and Maaxx Events circuits. The team also plans to participate in the Canada cup series, Eastern States Cups in both downhill and enduro, Transprovence, Wildside Enduro, and GAAP Enduro events. The boys will be in action this coming weekend in beautiful Mont Tremblant for the first round of Canada Cup series. Be sure to visit the tent and meet the riders!

The Lama Cycles/NS Bikes downhill team roster includes young gun Lucas Rey-Sierro racing in Junior Expert and Team Manager Christophe Perreault looking to get back on the horse in Senior Expert. Franck Kircher and newcomer Rudy Girard complete the enduro roster racing the revamped NS Bikes Snabb E in Senior Elite.

We'd like to invite you to meet up with our riders at Bromont Mountain, where we frequently ride, and to follow up on the team's progression throughout the season through our WebsiteInstagramTwitter and our Pinkbike pages.

This huge team success is only possible with the best products, riders, and support out there. We would like to welcome our new sponsors to the Lama Cycles team for 2016 season and to thank the rest for their significant commitment to the program. In addition to Lama Cycles distribution co. and NS Bikes, the Lama Cycles team riders are sponsored by:
